About Fern Bank

While you are with us we want you to feel completely
relaxed and at home.
We are here to help to ensure that you have an enjoyable stay.

Fern Bank is the home of Helen Grosvenor, after many years in the hospitality industry she spent the last eight years as Head Butler to the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire at Chatsworth House. The only female ever to hold the post, she has decided to realise her long held dream to run her own bed and breakfast.

Fern Bank is a Victorian Villa built in 1894, it has been completely refurbished to the highest standards of comfort.
Located in the beautiful Peak District National Park, Fern Bank is an ideal base from which to explore all the area has to offer, including Haddon Hall and Chatsworth House which are both within walking distance of the door.

We are dog friendly and your dogs are welcome to stay with you in your room for a small charge.
We are happy to provide food and water bowls for your dog, please let us know if there is anything else you need.
Your four legged friends are sure to enjoy the country side trails and walks that the Peak District has to offer.
We have facilities for your dog to have a wash and blow dry after muddy walks!
